It was nine in the evening before Bai Yuanyuan finished filming her scenes.
As soon as Bai Yuanyuan returned to her seat, Meng Yun came over with a smile.
"Tomboy, you're done working!"
"You haven't left yet?" Bai Yuanyuan asked curiously, drinking the black liquid in her cup.
Meng Yun was already traumatized by whatever Bai Yuanyuan drank. How was that anything tasty? It was clearly Chinese medicine, bitter enough to make him question his life.
"I was waiting for you, wasn't I?" Meng Yun sat grinning on a little wooden rocking horse, rocking back and forth.
His bodyguard had gone out specifically to buy it for him.
"Waiting for me?" Bai Yuanyuan gathered up her bag and slung it over her shoulder.
"You don't have a car picking you up? Your company doesn't even give you a car? You're so famous!" Meng Yun looked indignant on Bai Yuanyuan's behalf.
He delivered "you're so famous" with earth-shaking force.
"I don't need one. I have a ride." Bai Yuanyuan walked over to the flower bed and pulled out a hoverboard.
Meng Yun crouched beside her, carefully examining the little thing in front of him.
Bai Yuanyuan pressed the power button, and multicolored lights began flashing on the hoverboard.
"This is cool!"
Meng Yun was like a little kid who had spotted an awesome toy.
Bai Yuanyuan stepped onto it with her long legs, looking especially cool.
"Hey, tomboy, wait for me. Let me treat you to dinner." Meng Yun blocked Bai Yuanyuan's path.
"Dinner?"
"Yeah."
"No." Bai Yuanyuan shook her head.
"Why?" Meng Yun's eyes widened.
"I'm losing weight."
"You're so skinny. What do you need to lose weight for?" In disbelief, Meng Yun measured Bai Yuanyuan's arm with his hands, then did the same with his own.
