Several pirates attacked from behind, looping barbed chains over Lorne's shoulders in an attempt to pull him down.
"Get over here!"
The pirates pulled hard.
Lorne stood where he was, his body not even swaying.
He turned to look at the pirates and flashed a wild grin.
"Want to match strength?"
Lorne grabbed the chains with both hands and yanked.
"Ah!"
The pirates felt an irresistible force surge through them, and they flew toward him, unable to control their bodies.
"Crushing Blow!"
Lorne brought his hands together, and the spatial pulling force he generated smashed the pirates flying in from either side into one another.
Bam!
With the sound of breaking bones, the pirates instantly coughed up blood and lost consciousness, collapsing limply onto the deck.
"Too weak. Far too weak."
Lorne shook his head and looked up at Perospero.
"Hey, long tongue, are you just going to hide up there and watch your men die?"
Perospero's face flushed red with rage, and even his tall top hat sat crooked.
"Bastard!"
"Don't get too carried away, brat!"
He waved his cane, and vast quantities of candy syrup surged from the flagship, gathering in the air into an enormous Candy Dragon.
"Candy Dragon: Bite to Death!"
The dragon roared and plunged toward the warship Lorne stood on.
Standing on the deck, Lorne slowly clenched his fists as he faced the enormous Candy Dragon.
"Just what I wanted!"
Boom!
The dragon smashed the entire warship's deck to pieces, sending wood splinters and candy fragments flying everywhere.
The powerful shock wave sent the surrounding sea churning violently.
"Did it work?"
Perospero stared fixedly at the wreckage.
But there was no sign of Lorne's corpse amid the wreckage, only a mass of dazzling golden flames burning fiercely.
"Is that all you've got?"
