His feet plowed two deep furrows through the ice, yet he still held firm against the attack ahead.
"So this is a combined attack from the Four Emperors? It certainly packs a punch!" Lorne gritted his teeth, a savage grin spreading across his face.

The two forces intensified again. Lorne's body finally gave out, and he was blasted away.

Finally, he slammed into a massive ice wall, shattering the entire wall.
Billowing dust and shattered ice buried him completely, and a brief silence fell over the battlefield once more.
"Is it over?" a Marine Vice Admiral asked quietly as he watched the ruins.
"He couldn't possibly survive an attack like that. Not even Whitebeard could." The officer beside him shook his head.
The pirates began to cheer, their voices echoing across the battlefield.

On the Execution Platform, Teach burst into wild laughter, bound in chains.
"Zehahahaha! Lorne, your day finally came!" Teach's voice brimmed with satisfaction.
