He caught the long blade and drove it backward into the knight's chest.
A second knight swung an axe from behind.
He sidestepped the axe blade and slammed his shoulder into the man's chest.
The breastplate caved in, and the knight flew backward, spewing blood.
A third raised his gun and fired.
Lorne hurled the long blade in his hand. It passed precisely through the muzzle, pierced the knight's throat, and pinned him firmly to the ice.
"He tore the Seastone net apart! Even giants can't break free of those nets!"
"He's clearly being suppressed by Seastone! Why does he still have so much strength?"
"Saint Garling, we can't hold him off! Run!"
Lorne stomped hard on the ground.
The ice heaved beneath his foot, throwing two Candidate Knights into the air.
He caught one by the ankle and swung his body into the other.
The two bodies collided before crashing into the ruins.
Two Candidate Knights dove down from above.
"Beheading! Divine Judgment!"
Two slashes of sword energy crossed as they descended.
Lorne simply raised both arms to take them head-on.
The sword energy split his flesh and sank deep into his bones.
Before the two knights could pull their swords free, he seized their collars and smashed his forehead into both their helmets at once.
The helmets shattered, and both men instantly lost consciousness.
He casually flung the corpses behind him.
The last few Candidate Knights broke down completely.
"Retreat! Everyone, retreat! Saint Garling is beyond saving! We can't kill him!"
"This monster turns his injuries into strength! If we stay, he'll beat us to death one by one!"
Saint Garling stiffened at their words.
"What did you say? Come back! Who gave you permission to retreat? I'm the Acting Commander-in-Chief! You dare abandon me?"
One Candidate Knight
