Marine Uprising

As Luffy used "Gum-Gum Rocket" straight at Marine Headquarters, even Zoro, who had just been about to eat something, was stunned. With a whoosh, Luffy vanished in the blink of an eye.

Just after Luffy flew over, Liu Qing sensed a blonde girl sneaking through the entrance to the Marine Base. Clearly, the girl was planning to do something bad.

Meanwhile...

On the roof of Marine Headquarters, after Captain Morgan finished berating Helmeppo, he brought several dozen Marine soldiers up to erect his own statue.

The Marine soldiers shouted, "One, two, one, pull! Brothers, let's get the statue upright in one go! One, two, one, pull!"

Suddenly, Helmeppo limped over to Morgan and wailed, "Boo-hoo! Dad, why won't you help me get revenge? They beat me up this badly! Even you've never hit me!"

Morgan did not even look at Helmeppo. "Do you know why I've never hit you? Because you're so stupid that I don't even feel like hitting you. You're utterly useless."

Then he looked at his deputy. "It looks like a few rats have slipped in. Take some men and get rid of them for me. Get rid of that mother and daughter while you're at it."

The deputy refused firmly. "They're only children. I can't obey that order, even if you are a captain."

Hearing his deputy's words, Morgan walked straight over to him and swung the axe on his arm at him. The axe struck his head squarely, and the deputy immediately fell unconscious.

Morgan looked at the Marines around him. "Listen carefully! I earned my rank as captain through strength. Here, my word is everything. Even if my orders are wrong, you aren't allowed to have any objections. Just obey your orders, understood?"

The Marines answered, "Yes, Captain Morgan!"

Captain Morgan said, "I'll let it slide this time. They can live today. Your most important task now is to erect the statue that represents my greatness, my supreme authority, and my power. I want everyone on this island to know how great I am. Get moving!"

The Marines answered, "Yes, Captain Morgan!"

Just as they were about to get the statue into place, an arm suddenly appeared on it. Then Luffy came flying up from below and smashed the statue to pieces.

All the Marines stared dumbfounded at the shattered statue. Luffy knew he had caused trouble, too. "Sorry, I've got something to do," he said, then grabbed Helmeppo and ran.

At that moment, a soldier pointed at Liu Qing in the drill ground and told Captain Morgan, "Captain Morgan, there's someone inside the Execution Ground!"

Morgan walked over to look, and anger immediately went to his head. "So many people daring to rebel against me! Go gather all the soldiers at the Execution Ground, then eliminate the rebels!"

"Yes!"

Some time later.

Liu Qing sensed that Luffy had obtained the weapons and was heading their way, with a large group of gun-carrying Marines following behind him.

As soon as he entered the Execution Ground, Luffy shouted, "Hey, Zoro! I got your weapons! Ahahahaha!"

Liu Qing, however, looked at the Marines following Luffy and charged straight at them. He clapped his hands together. "Bringer-of-Darkness Technique!" All the Marines went blind, including Captain Morgan. They all stopped short and stood on guard where they were, not daring to move around recklessly.

Luffy ran up to Zoro and said, "Zoro, I didn't know which sword was yours, so I brought all three. Take a look. Which one's your weapon?"

Zoro stood up and took the three swords. "All three are my weapons. I'm a Three-Sword Style swordsman."

After saying that, Zoro looked at the Marines standing motionless, his face full of confusion. "Why aren't any of them moving?"

Luffy laughed loudly. "I know this one! It's Liu Qing's ability. He can make people lose their eyesight and go blind. They can't see anything around them now, so of course they wouldn't dare move around."

Liu Qing walked over and chuckled. "Luffy, Zoro, I'll put on a fun show for you."

Then Liu Qing clapped his hands together. "Wood Release: Multiple Wood Clones!" A series of whooshes rang out as several dozen clones identical to Liu Qing split off from his body.

Immediately afterward, he used the "Transformation Technique." All the clones turned into men among the Marines and made fake guns with Wood Release, while one turned into Captain Morgan. All the transformed clones charged straight into the Marines' ranks, each grabbing a Marine and spinning him around. Once things looked sufficiently scrambled, Liu Qing released the "Bringer-of-Darkness Technique."

Once it was released, all the Marines were completely bewildered.

Marine A said, "Why are there two Captain Morgans?"

Marine B said, "I don't know! There are two of me, too. You guys, too. It looks like there are two of everyone."

Marine C said, "What do we do now?"

Wood Release Clone Marine A said, "One of them has to be fake. I'm the real one. The other me must be fake."

Wood Release Marine Clone B said, "Ah, right, right, right! I'm real, too! Quick, quick, quick! Help me catch the person impersonating me!"

The Morgan clone pointed his axe-bearing arm at the real Morgan. "I am the great Captain Morgan! Who are you to dare impersonate me? All Marines, heed my command! Raise your guns and attack the man impersonating me!"

The moment the Marines heard that tone of voice, they were certain this was the real one. Then the real Marines, who knew nothing, and the fake Marines, who knew the truth, all raised their guns and aimed at the real Captain Morgan.

Before Captain Morgan could explain, the gunfire came. The Wood Clones also used chakra to form wooden bullets inside their wooden guns, then fired them with chakra.

Unexpectedly, Captain Morgan had some skill. He actually dodged most of the bullets and suffered only minor injuries. After evading the attack, Captain Morgan shouted furiously at the Marines who had fired on him, "Are you trying to rebel against me? I'm the real Captain Morgan, you useless fools!"

Wood Clone Marine A said, "Fuck you, you fake! Our respected Captain Morgan would never talk to us like that!"

Wood Clone Marine B said, "Ah, right, right, right! Captain Morgan treats me like a brother. He would never hit or curse us. You're a fake!"

Wood Clone Marine C said, "Brothers, can you stand being oppressed by this fake Morgan? Think of your families and siblings. As long as this fake Morgan is around, none of you will have a good life! Brothers, take up the weapons in our hands! Down with Morgan! The blue heaven is dead; the yellow heaven shall rise! In the year of the Wood Rat, all under heaven shall prosper! Down with Morgan! Liberate Shells Town!"

The real Marines' blood boiled as they listened.

Marine A said, "That's right, brothers! Down with Morgan! All under heaven shall prosper!"

Hearing a Marine shout, all the real Marines began chanting, "Down with Morgan! Down with Morgan! Liberate Shells Town! Liberate Shells Town!"

A Wood Clone Marine shouted, "Brothers, down with Morgan! Prepare to attack! Those with guns, use your guns! Brothers with cannons, aim straight at that Morgan who called us rebels! Take him down!"

After all the chaos stirred up by the clone Marines, every Marine in the Execution Ground aimed his weapon at the real Captain Morgan, leaving Morgan trembling all over with rage.

Morgan said, "You traitors! How dare you treat me like this! I'm a Marine captain, the greatest and most powerful man in Shells Town!"

The Marines shouted, "Fuck you! We've had enough of you for ages! Every day, you strut around like you're some big shot, hacking this person or that person to death at the drop of a hat, and even ordering us to kill civilians! Our families are among them! Brothers, we're not putting up with it anymore today! That bastard Morgan is just one man. There are hundreds of us, and we have weapons!
