Sasuke visited the dying Kagaya Ubuyashiki, who revealed that he planned to lure Muzan to Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters and entrusted Sasuke with command of the Corps. Sasuke took the command token while refusing to accept responsibility, leaving his true intentions unstated.
