"Huh? It really doesn't hurt!" Zenitsu sat up in delighted surprise.
Nezuko did not pause. She turned and walked toward Inosuke.
Inosuke put on a brave front. He puffed out his chest and shouted, "Come on! I'm not afraid of any flames! Show me what you've got, you little brat!"
Boom! Flames engulfed Inosuke. Moments later, the poison in his body had been completely purged as well.
With that, the danger to all three severely wounded men was finally over.
Watching the others regain their energy, Rokuya finally relaxed completely. He turned toward the pitch-black night sky and gave a loud whistle.
Several caws came from the sky. Rokuya's Kasugai Crow circled down from the distance and landed steadily on his shoulder.
"Go tell the Kakushi Corps to come handle the aftermath," Rokuya instructed the Kasugai Crow. "There's been too much commotion in the Entertainment District. The civilian casualties and damage to the buildings all need to be dealt with. Also, tell the head of the Ubuyashiki family that Upper Rank Six has been defeated. Mission complete."
The Kasugai Crow nodded, flapped its wings, and flew into the night sky.
Watching the Kasugai Crow disappear into the distance, Rokuya suddenly slapped his forehead.
That was stupid, Rokuya berated himself. When Gyutaro was trying to lure me away, I could have just left the Kasugai Crow with Tanjiro to keep watch and had it send word if anything happened. Instead, I was so worried about Shinobu's safety that I ran all the way there and back.
Rokuya sighed. Sure enough, whenever something involved the Kocho Sisters, the composure he took such pride in suffered greatly. This was his weakness, but he had no intention of changing it.
Shinobu Kocho walked up beside him. Seeing his somewhat frustrated expression, she asked softly,
