Yuichiro froze for a moment. As he looked into Rokuya's utterly confident eyes, the hesitation in his heart instantly vanished.
"Don't die!" Yuichiro shouted. Then he drove off with his legs, becoming a gray-white blur as he rushed through the gap torn open by the gale and into the dense darkness of the night.
Watching Yuichiro flee, Sekido raised his scepter in fury.
"You won't escape!" Sekido roared. A thick bolt of lightning instantly gathered at the tip of his scepter, ready to blast toward Yuichiro's retreating figure.
"You talk too much."
Rokuya's voice exploded beside Sekido's ear.
A blue blur crossed the distance between them in an instant. The Energy Blade in Rokuya's hand slashed straight for Sekido's neck, carrying an aura that threatened to destroy everything.
"Let's see you take one slash from me first!" Rokuya stared coldly at the demon before him. Blue streams of magic erupted fully along the Energy Blade. At that moment, the battle began in earnest.
Rokuya stood amid the wreckage strewn across the ruins. Rubble crunched dully beneath his boots. The smell of burning filled the air.
Sekido stood opposite him, his face filled with brutality. He slammed his scepter heavily against the ground. The dull impact made the surrounding air vibrate violently.
Dazzling bolts of lightning spread from the base of the scepter. They raced wildly across the shattered ground, crackling shrilly.
Karaku stood beside Sekido. The Maple Leaf War Fan in his hand gave off an unsettling aura.
Rokuya tightened his grip on the Energy Blade. Cyan-blue energy began spreading from its hilt. It was an energy that carried an aura of destruction.
Rokuya's gaze was icy. He spoke quietly to Kanae beside him.
"I'll focus on attacking Sekido. You keep Karaku occupied. Watch out for the wind pressure
