Inside a small wooden house beside the waterfall on Cuiping Mountain.
A grand banquet was underway.
A loud bang rang out.
The clamor inside abruptly died away.
They watched the newcomer hastily pick up a cup of wine from the table, drain it in one gulp, and unceremoniously sit down among Konoha's delegation.
"Lord Liumu!"
"Lord Liumu!"
"Lord Liumu, what brings you here?"
"He's Liumu?"
"Yes. I've seen him once before. That's definitely him."
"But why would he be here?"
Everyone began talking at once.
Their words were full of bewilderment.
Liumu looked at the Kumogakure delegation opposite him and found that he didn't recognize a single person.
"Who's in charge here?"
"I am!"
An aging, dark-skinned ninja from Kumogakure stepped forward.
"You are? I didn't come here for much. Just two things. First, to hand a few people over to you. Second, to ask a question."
The man looked somewhat bewildered.
Liumu sneered and swept his hand, and five corpses appeared in the middle of the room.
At the sight of the ninja lying on the floor,
everyone was startled.
"Are these ninja from your village?"
The man's expression shifted.
His brows immediately tightened.
Yet, faced with Liumu's question, which carried no imposing air, he replied, "No. I don't know them."
After the man spoke, the remaining Kumogakure ninja also said they didn't know them.
Seeing this, Liumu slowly shook his head.
He raised his hand and snapped his fingers.
The five corpses were immediately set ablaze by Fire Release ninja.
A nauseating smell spread through the room, making quite a few people frown.
"Since you don't know them, forget it. Carrying a few corpses around is troublesome for me too. Burning them outright saves me the trouble."
