"Why are you looking at me like that?"
Liumu and Minato had returned to the Hokage Office.
Seeing Minato staring at him, Liumu raised an eyebrow and asked.
Minato felt helpless.
Why did he always feel as though he could never get a handle on this junior fellow disciple of his?
Liumu knew perfectly well that Konoha's clans needed to keep one another's strength in check, yet he had still helped the Uchiha Clan set a precedent.
"I'm not trying to blame you. I just want to tell you to give me a heads-up before you do anything that leaves a mess for me to clean up. Something like today really catches me off guard."
Liumu naturally understood Minato's thinking.
He would not take anyone's side or give any particular clan special treatment.
Even toward the Uchiha Clan, he did not harbor the intense hatred that the previous Hokage had.
But Liumu...
"All right, I get it."
Liumu did not want to hear a lecture, so he simply stood up.
"If anyone has complaints, they can come to me. What's happening with the Uchiha Clan is a good thing for Konoha to begin with."
"A good thing is a good thing. What the hell is there to complain about?!"
Liumu snapped irritably toward the window.
He even turned back to Minato and said, "Not only that, I'm going to build a Susanoo squad. Let's see which village dares come here and run wild after that!"
"Report!"
With a bang, a cloud of white mist burst up between them.
An Anbu ninja bowed and said, "The Hyuga Clan's head, Hyuga Hiashi, invites Lord Liumu to his residence for a gathering."
Liumu: ???
Shisui: ???
The Hyuga Clan?
Hiashi?
In Liumu's impression, the Hyuga Clan was one of Konoha's truly bizarre clans.
