Liumu and Might Duy discovered a dead Hyuga Main Family member whose Byakugan had been stolen, and Liumu suspected Kirigakure was responsible. The theft sparked an uproar in Konoha as the Hyuga Clan and the Third Hokage launched efforts to recover the eye.
