Across from him, Monkey D. Luffy still wore his signature red vest and blue shorts, with the straw hat he valued more than his life on his head.

Luffy looked at Naruto and spoke excitedly.

Naruto grinned as well.
"Come on, let's have a good, all-out fight!"

The battle erupted in an atmosphere of friendship!
"Multiple Shadow Clone Technique!"

Thousands of identical Naruto Uzumakis instantly packed the entire arena!
"Whoa! Awesome! There are so many of you!"
Dazzled by the sight, Luffy shouted excitedly.
"Rasengan!"
Hundreds of Narutos simultaneously formed blue balls of chakra in their hands and surrounded Luffy from every direction!
"Gum-Gum Gatling!"
Luffy's arms became countless afterimages, blasting apart the incoming Naruto shadow clones one after another like a machine gun!

The shadow clones kept disappearing in puffs of white smoke, but still more charged forward without fear of death!
For a time, the entire arena became a sea of shadow clones and rubber fists, fighting with wild abandon!

Naruto soon discovered that the taijutsu attacks he took such pride in could barely do any damage to that Rubber Man!

He instantly entered Sage Mode, orange pigmentation appearing around his eyes as his perception and strength soared!
