In the waters off Long Ring Long Land, at the center of the confrontation between ice and fire.
Zhang Fei stood on a slab of red floating ice, half melted by his own scorching heat, its edges still constantly vaporizing the seawater. Crimson magma flowed slowly across his body as though alive, congealing into fierce-looking Magma Armor brimming with power. Already tall and burly, he now resembled a Flame Colossus stepping out of myth against the glow of magma. Merely standing there, he radiated terrifying waves of heat that warped the surrounding air. The seawater beneath him sizzled, sending up vast clouds of white mist. The Eight-Foot Serpent Spear in his hand was crimson from end to end, with dark-gold magma dripping from its tip and melting deep pits into every patch of ice it touched.
"Hahaha! Now that's satisfying! That's more like it!" Zhang Fei's bristling beard flared, his round eyes wide as he stared at Aokiji on the ice opposite him. His unrestrained laughter echoed between sea and sky like rolling thunder. "Ice Boy, that fight in the West Blue wasn't nearly satisfying enough! Today, it's just you and me. Let loose and give me a proper battle! Let old Zhang see whether you really deserve to be called the Marines' greatest fighting force!"
Aokiji stood on an ice field as smooth as a mirror. Unlike Zhang Fei's oppressive heat, an extreme chill surrounded him, seemingly capable of freezing even the soul. The Marine Admiral's Justice Coat stirred gently in the sea breeze. His hands remained in his pockets, his posture seemingly languid, but his formerly sleepy eyes were now as sharp as icicles, fixed firmly on Zhang Fei. Centered beneath him, the ice silently spread outward and thickened, forming a sharply divided world of ice and fire
