Yasopp walked slowly out of the crowd, holding his sniper rifle, Golden Lion. His eyes were as sharp as a hawk's, his finger rested lightly on the trigger, and he blended into his surroundings, as though he had been born to snipe.
Usopp trembled slightly as he looked at the man before him, at once familiar and unfamiliar. This was his father, the man who had left their hometown when he was very young and become the strongest sniper on the seas. All these years, he had both loved and hated his father, longing for the day he could prove himself.
"Dad..." Usopp murmured, tightening his grip on his Black Kabuto slingshot. His fingertips turned slightly white, and his top-tier Observation Haki had already spread out, covering everything within several hundred meters.
"What's wrong? Afraid to fight me?" Yasopp smiled. "I've heard you defeated Sugar in Dressrosa and became the Straw Hat Pirates' Snipe Shot King. If you can't even beat me, that title of Snipe Shot King is nothing but a joke."
"Who says I'm afraid?!" Usopp suddenly raised his head, a flicker of resolve in his eyes. "I'm not that coward who could only tell lies anymore! I'm Captain Usopp, sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates! Today, I'll defeat you and prove it to you!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Usopp leaped onto the top of the mast. He took a green seed out of his backpack and loaded it into Black Kabuto.
"Special Attack: Green Star, Devil!"
The seed shot out, rapidly sprouting in midair into a massive devil plant with sharp claws and fangs that lunged at Yasopp.
Without a change in expression, Yasopp raised his gun and fired.
