After returning to his office, Douglas immediately bought an aged bronze vessel shaped like a fortune basin from the system Shop (bronze was originally golden yellow, but this piece was blue-black).

The handles on either side of the fortune basin were carved into lifelike ruyi scepters. Besides cloud patterns, the basin's body featured sixteen Eastern Dragons baring their fangs and brandishing their claws around three flamboyant Seal Script characters in the center that read "Fortune Basin."

Douglas had chosen this color because he intended to make a nest for Wangcai. If he chose a brighter material, he worried that Wangcai would stuff the nest into his own pouch.

Douglas added an Extension Charm to the inside of the fortune basin, then took out a specially made Fake Galleon and tossed it inside.

A Copying Charm had been fixed to this Fake Galleon, and the coin was bound to the fortune basin. Unless the spell was lifted, it could not be taken out of the basin.

As long as a living creature touched it, it would continuously produce copies of the Fake Galleon. Letting go would stop the copying, and the copied Fake Galleons would only last ten hours.

Douglas felt that with this gold coin there, no matter how much Wangcai liked to play, he would obediently return to the Golden Nest Douglas had made for him.

Once everything was ready, Douglas lifted Wangcai out of his pocket.

Wangcai seemed rather uneasy at being lifted into unfamiliar surroundings and kept struggling. His first reaction upon seeing Douglas was to cover his pouch and look at Douglas innocently.

Douglas's heart melted at that adorably clueless expression, so he grabbed Wangcai by both legs and shook him vigorously in the air.

A pile of things came tumbling out of the magical pouch
