Hannah hurried after it. The moment she took her first step onto the rubble, she knew this was no creation of Professor Lupin's. That exquisite ache in the soles of her feet was unmistakably Professor Holmes's style.

But she had no time to dwell on it. A spell suddenly flew at her from the spot her spell had just struck.

Amid the startled cries from everyone behind her, Hannah hurriedly ducked, barely avoiding the spell.

Only when Douglas saw everyone looking at him did he say unhurriedly:

"Didn't I just tell you? This place is full of magical traps. A trap that reflects spells after a delay is pretty good, isn't it?"

Ernie said in shock:

"Doesn't that mean we can't just cast spells whenever we want? If we miss the mouse and hit a trap, we're the ones who suffer?"

Finding herself unharmed, Hannah quickly got up and watched the path ahead carefully. Last year's practical lessons, along with all the stories about Hogwarts' Defense Against Dark Magic practical lessons, had taught her that if Professor Holmes had designed this place, it certainly would not be as simple as making the soles of her feet ache.

But as she slowly and cautiously crossed the rubble and reached the large rock where the mouse had stood, nothing else happened.

The mouse had already run onto the next rock and stood up again to look at her.

No matter how she looked at those little eyes, they seemed to hold the same mocking look as Professor Holmes's.

Feeling that she was actually being mocked by a mouse, she raised her wand again and shouted at it, "Stupefy!"

As soon as she finished the incantation, she hurriedly crouched behind the large rock beside her to keep the spell-reflecting trap from hitting her.
