Just then, two gruff yet youthful voices suddenly rang out at the pub entrance.
"A large barrel of Butterbeer, please!"
"Yes, a large barrel! We're taking it away!"
At those words, the entire pub fell briefly silent.
Rosmerta rose with a smile when she heard them.
"Hehe, looks like we have two newcomers!"
The professors present, however, all looked alarmed.
Douglas casually dispelled the soundproofing magic.
Hagrid turned around and called out in surprise:
"Harry! Ron!"
Professor McGonagall roared furiously:
"Potter, Weasley, what do you want a barrel of beer for?"
Hogwarts did not forbid students from drinking a little beer, but ordering a whole barrel at once...
After saying that, Professor McGonagall looked at Douglas. She was full of resentment toward him today, and at that moment, she even felt that Harry had only developed a fondness for drinking after spending a summer living with Douglas.
Douglas was taken aback by McGonagall's look, then called out to the two dumbstruck boys at the entrance:
"You two, get over here!"
Ron's and Harry's heads were buzzing. Their legs felt as though they were filled with lead, pinning them to the spot.
Hadn't George and Fred just said that Douglas had gone to the Hog's Head, saying that was where adult wizards went?
That was why they had come to the Three Broomsticks so boldly and without a worry.
Who could have imagined they would stumble into a whole nest of professors?
The two turned their heads in utter despair and glanced at Hermione by the entrance.
Because the pub entrance had soundproofing magic, Hermione had not heard Professor McGonagall's voice.
Seeing the strange expressions on their faces as they looked at her, she grumbled quietly:
"Honestly, you can't even manage something this simple."
With that, she walked into the pub,
