"Squeak!"
Wangcai's excited cry was his answer.
The little fellow leaped eagerly out of Harry's pocket and, like a streak of black lightning, landed squarely on Douglas's shoulder, nuzzling his owner's cheek affectionately with his long snout.
Douglas finally lowered his wand, fished a Silver Sickle out of his pocket, and slipped it into Wangcai's pouch as a reward for his "undercover" work that day.
Watching this, Harry finally found an outlet for the Golden Snitches crashing around inside his head.
"Uncle!" He strode forward, his voice tight with urgency.
"How did the plan go? Who exactly were you trying to deal with by disguising yourself as me? Was it Voldemort? Have you already dealt with him?"
The questions poured out like floodwater bursting through a dam.
Douglas finally looked up. He studied Harry's face, flushed with excitement and confusion, with a trace of curiosity in his eyes.
"How did you guess it was Voldemort?"
"I saw him in my first year!"
Harry answered immediately.
"He was attached to the back of Professor Quirrell's head! I don't know exactly what happened tonight, but I can't think of anyone else worth setting a trap like this for!"
Douglas's lips curved into an approving smile.
"A very clever deduction, Harry."
He paused, then handed over the holly wand.
"But I didn't manage to deal with him."
"Because Voldemort has returned to life."

Harry felt his mind blasted blank by those casually spoken words.
