Shi Yu and Han He agreed to join the team, and the arc ended with Shen Bai identifying an attacker at Hu Zihao’s hospital as a Curtain-Caller.

• Liu Zunfu vanished after entering the school restroom, and Shi Yu warned Hu Zihao that an Evil Sin might target him next.
• Han He recognized that Yang Desheng had become an extension of an Evil Sin, and the trio escaped the classroom as the school’s memories and spaces began to distort.
• The Evil Sin trapped Hu Zihao in the washroom, but Shi Yu awakened Thought and helped free him from the sealed room.

After surviving the school incident, Shi Yu, Han He, and Hu Zihao joined Snow Cedar and began learning how to work as Gifted. The arc left them equipped with credentials and basic training as they settled into their new roles and toasted to being seventeen.

• Xi Yao restored the damaged minds of the hospitalized teachers and students, while Shen Bai brought Feng Wanshu and the surviving students to the police station.
• Feng Wanshu learned that Hu Zihao had become a Gifted and agreed to let him join Liu Yiyi’s group, and Shi Yu, Han He, and Hu Zihao later signed on with Snow Cedar.
• Shen Bai explained the school attack and the dangers posed by Evil Sins and Curtain-Callers, while Liu Yiyi taught the newcomers about inheritances, advancement, and the risks of losing control.
