Ling Shanshan looked around at the scattered debris and shattered rocky ground. Combined with the grave expressions on Fu Dao and Lin Yi's faces, she was utterly bewildered. "Swallowed by an exotic beast? Why don't I remember any of that at all?"
She carefully recalled what had happened earlier, but her mind was blank, with only fragmented pieces remaining.
From beginning to end, she only remembered splitting up to gather pure Yin-Yang Qi within the secret realm. Then, her head had suddenly grown heavy, her consciousness had seemed shrouded in thick fog, and she had unknowingly fallen asleep. As for being devoured by the Secret Realm Spirit and everything that followed—the battle and slaughter—she had no memory of any of it.
"Strange." Ling Shanshan muttered softly. Then, as though she had suddenly remembered something, her heart tightened. She hurriedly raised her hand and took out a palm-sized, ancient yet exquisite spatial pouch.
A glimmer of spiritual light flickered from her fingertips as she removed the pouch's restriction. Once she sensed the abundant, rich aura within, she let out a long breath of relief. Her brows immediately relaxed, and she happily patted her chest. "Thank goodness, thank goodness. None of the Yin-Yang Qi I collected is missing. I've struck it rich this time!"
Her girlish nature was fully exposed. She had only just escaped a life-and-death crisis, yet in the next moment, she was secretly delighted over the resources she had accumulated.
Lin Yi shook his head helplessly at the sight. Too lazy to pay much attention to the lively Ling Shanshan, he turned toward the calm-faced Shen Ni Ni and asked about her condition.
Shen Ni Ni gave a slight bow, her tone gentle and filled with sincere gratitude. "Thank you for saving me, Big Brother Lin. The poison in
