Southern Domain, on a remote island.
The island was shrouded in mist all year round, with reefs scattered densely around it.
Deep within the island stood an Obsidian Shaman Tower, its walls carved with glowing runes.
"Help..."

Miserable cries continuously rose from the underground karst cave beneath the Shaman Tower.
The karst cave was enormous and filled entirely with laboratories. These people were bound by iron chains, their bodies covered in tubes drawing blood.
Under the faint blue glow, some had rotting skin, while others had twisted and deformed limbs.
The remains of failed experiments were piled in the corners of the cave. Newly delivered living people were shoved into pools full of slime, their screams mixing with the hum of Shaman Arrays and echoing through the cave.
"Cough, cough. Stop shouting. Save some strength now, and perhaps it won't hurt so much when you die."
Accompanied by a cough, a hunched old man emerged from the darkness. His skin was wrinkled like volcanic rock, his left eye was hollow, and his right eye glowed murkily.
He was Great Shaman Halint.
He slowly approached several experimental subjects.
These people were all Newborns from Blue Star, but special Shaman Artifacts had been fitted around their wrists. They could neither use Activation Codes to log out nor escape this place.
"What a pity. After researching for so long, I still can't extract that power from the Newborns."
"Without that power, I cannot enter Ascension Iron City."
"That Trial is far too difficult for me now. I have no hope of passing it, so I can only find a way through the Newborns."
"I have already waited a hundred years. I have little lifespan left. Must I truly risk going to Blue Star to search for
