Should Money Really Be Stronger Than Connections?

"Parvati, where exactly are you taking me? Isn't this place fine?"

Watching Parvati's back, Hermione couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about her today.

By then, the two had reached the second floor of the castle. At this hour, everyone was gathered around the Great Hall on the first floor, leaving the second floor empty and deserted. Whatever it was, couldn't they talk here?

"It's just ahead. We'll be there soon. I'm afraid someone might run into us if we talk here."

Parvati answered without looking back.

Seeing this, Hermione could only follow helplessly.

She really wanted to get to the classroom and study ahead of time!

After walking for another five minutes or so, they reached the very end of the second-floor corridor.

Parvati pushed open the door to an old, abandoned classroom.

Unused for a long time, the door was covered in dust. Its hinges had rusted, letting out a harsh creak as it turned. In the empty corridor, it created an eerie atmosphere, as though bloodthirsty ghosts and monsters were lurking in the abandoned classroom ahead.

"Hermione, come in. Don't worry, it'll be over soon."

Standing just inside the doorway, Parvati smiled and beckoned Hermione over.

After hesitating for a moment, Hermione still stepped into the abandoned classroom.

She examined the room.

At the front right was a teacher's desk, no different from the ones she usually saw in class. But it was coated in a thick layer of dust, making it clear that no one had come here in a very long time.

The desks on the left had been neatly stacked at the back of the classroom. The curtains over the windows were tattered, blocking most of the sunlight and leaving the whole room somewhat dim.
