Seizing 'Power' by Force

Just as Greyback was about to freeze into a dog, Wallace finally entered Bell's dormitory.

It had to be said that the door knocker at the entrance to the Ravenclaw common room really had some tricks up its sleeve. Its question had been exceptionally tricky, and Wallace had pondered it for a long time before finally passing the test.

After entering the dormitory, Wallace encountered the same situation as Hermenium.

The idea was good enough, but just as Wallace drew his Wand, before he even had the chance to cast anything, a pair of golden eyes suddenly opened and looked suspiciously toward where he stood.

Noticing those eyes suddenly light up in the darkness from the corner of his vision, Wallace immediately stopped moving. Maintaining the Disillusionment Charm, he stood frozen in place.

He had not noticed earlier that a pet cat was sleeping on Bell's bed.

Many Wizards' pets carried traces of Magical Animals blood in their bodies, giving them senses far sharper than those of ordinary animals.

If a cat exposed his whereabouts and caused the plan to fail, he would be laughed to death when he got back.

Fina suspiciously scanned the dormitory. To her eyes, the pitch-black room was not much dimmer than it was during the day.

Just now, while sleeping, she had suddenly sensed a dangerous presence. Yet now, she could not find anything unusual.
