Bell had already expected this outcome.
Earlier, with Hermione, he had used Legilimency on that attacker, trying to uncover the other party's origins.
But perhaps the pressure exerted by the Menethil Family had been too great? In any case, the man's memories had been carefully deleted and altered, leaving almost no valuable information behind.
Even the information within those memories, including names and such, could not be confirmed by Bell as either genuine or traps planted in advance to mislead him.
"Wait! Give me a little more time! Please! Just a little while, and I'll remember! I'll remember soon!"
Number Two stared in terror at Bell as he slowly approached. Under the threat of death, he even ignored the pain in his body, struggling to retreat away from Bell.
Unfortunately, with fractures all over his body and even his wand broken, Number Two could not break free from the earth's restraints. He could only watch helplessly as Bell drew nearer and placed a hand atop his head.
Bell first used Legilimency once more, unwilling to give up. As expected, all he gained was some inconsequential information of uncertain truth.
Then, a pale blue glow lit up in Bell's palm. Wisps of white mist streaked with faint blue light flowed out from Number Two's eyes, ears, mouth, and nose.
Number Two's eyes bulged wide and his mouth hung open, but he could only make low, hoarse whimpering sounds.
More and more mist poured out, its flow gradually accelerating. Finally, after crossing some critical threshold, a translucent pale-blue
