Before Bell could speak, Jennifer took the lead in explaining.

"Ice Element is merely a general term. In fact, the creatures on Dark Star come in many forms: beast-like, humanoid, and all kinds of bizarre shapes.

Essentially, they are all composed of ice-attributed Magic Power, much like how living creatures on Earth are composed of cells. Different types of Ice Elements also possess different habits and powers.

Among them, Ice Slimes are considered the lowest form on the food chain. Ice Slimes contain no ice cores. Their strength, speed, and defenses are all extremely weak. The only thing worth mentioning about them is that the gelatinous substance in their bodies can rapidly absorb energy from outer space and convert it into frost Magic Power."

Without exaggeration, Dark Star was the most valuable planet the Menethil Family had discovered so far.

Planets such as Mars and Neptune could not compare to Dark Star at all in terms of the rare magical materials they produced.

Dark Star produced only one material: the ice cores inside Ice Elements. Other than Ice Slimes, every kind of Ice Element possessed an elemental core formed from condensed frost Magic Power.

This elemental core was both an Ice Element's fatal weakness and its source of energy.

The function of an ice core was to absorb heat from its surroundings and produce Magic Power. Every ice core could be regarded as an inferior version of the Philosopher's Stone, capable of continuously supplying Magic Power to various facilities and magical items.

When ice cores were discovered, every researcher in the Menethil Family was utterly stunned. After all, these were naturally occurring Philosopher's Stones. They required no processing whatsoever and could be used immediately.
