Lighter, a Little Lighter

After confirming his little sister's condition, Bell began searching for the Elemental Lord again.

However, the previous Main Gun Firing had blasted the Elemental Lord far away. Bell could not find its massive body anywhere within his field of vision.

Sunshine Charm!

Floating high into the air, Bell raised his Wand and created a small, sun-like sphere of light above his head.

With the light from the orb, Bell finally spotted a miserable figure in the distance.

One of the Elemental Lord's legs had snapped at the knee. The thigh still attached to its body was covered in cracks. However, from up close, Bell could see those cracks rapidly healing. At this rate, they would all disappear in less than two minutes.

Taking out his Personal Terminal, Bell called Stuart.

"Hello? Stuart, are you sure that was the minimum output just now? Can you make it a little weaker? Or focus the power more?"

The moment Stuart's image appeared, Bell immediately asked.

"Young Master, thank goodness you're all right."

Seeing Bell safe and sound, Stuart nearly cried. Heaven knew how worried he had been.

"Yes, Young Master. That was already the Williams's main gun at minimum output. As for concentrating the power... well, there's nothing I can do about that."

Stuart said with a troubled expression.

He was merely the Captain of the Williams, not its chief engineer. Of the many technologies used on this warship, he understood how many of them worked but not why. Changing the main gun's settings was beyond him, and he did not think anyone could manage it in a short time. Otherwise, it would have been configured that way during construction.

"...Fine. Keep using that output, then. Wait for my signal."

After ending the call, Bell took a deep breath, suppressed the turmoil in
