"Shanna, call Fina out and have her test this creature's strength."
A mere glimpse could easily lead to a biased assessment of its strength. Perhaps this creature was exceptionally skilled at ambushes and sneak attacks, while its frontal combat ability was actually quite mediocre. Or perhaps what it had displayed earlier was only the tip of the iceberg, and its true strength was even greater.
Either way, having Fina probe it would make the answer clear soon enough.
It would also give that little guy, hopelessly addicted to gaming, a chance to move around. Otherwise, it might really get spoiled rotten.
"Fina, remember to put on the battle armor I made for you. Be careful and cautious. If your vital points get pierced, you'll be the one suffering for it."
Bell patted Fina's huge head and earnestly reminded it.
"Awoo! (Don't worry!)"
Fina proudly raised its head and let out a confident roar.
However, when it flew above the humanoid creature, it still touched the collar around its neck with a claw. Plates of armor then extended from the collar, swiftly wrapping around Fina's entire body and ultimately forming a handsome, ferocious suit of fitted battle armor.
This armor made specifically for Fina was custom-made by Bell after he had thoroughly studied Wang Shouqiang's family's armor-crafting methods.
After all, this little guy spent all day sprawled on the sofa playing games, and its combat skills were truly nothing special. Bell was afraid that his adorable pet might suffer a loss one day, so he could only prepare several powerful magical items for it.
"Roar!"
With its armor covering its body, Fina was brimming with confidence. After giving its enemy fair warning, making it clear that it disdained sneak attacks, it dove straight at the target, intending to confront it head-on.
