Having made a new friend, all that remained were minor issues.
Bell reached out and made a grasping motion, then pulled back, dragging over Fina, who had just pounced out of the woods.
With a light tap of his finger on Fina's forehead, the silver-white armor on her body rapidly shrank and folded, eventually reverting into a collar. At the same time, Fina's body rapidly shrank as well. In the blink of an eye, she transformed into a kitten-sized form and was gathered into Bell's arms.
"Whimper~!"
Fina pointed at her nose, mouth, and eyes in grievance, letting out a pitiful whine.
In response, Bell's palm glowed with emerald light brimming with the breath of life. He gently stroked Fina's little head, and before long, the little one's discomfort had vanished.
Upon seeing Fina, Fang seemed to have completely forgotten about being "hunted down" for dozens of minutes. He merely glanced at her before ignoring her again.
"Stop! Fang, what are those things?"
After following behind Fang and winding through the dense forest for nearly an hour, a loud shout suddenly came from a tree ahead. Immediately afterward, a Forest Troll about Fang's height but noticeably more muscular blocked Bell's group.
"Uncle Tom, this is Prophet Bell. He and his companions are all humans. Prophet Bell wishes to visit our Emerald Peak Tribe, so I brought them here."
Fang spoke up first to explain.
"Greetings, honored Prophet Bell. The Emerald Peak Tribe welcomes your arrival."
Hearing this, Tom immediately gave Bell a respectful bow.
"And you, Fang—congratulations on completing the trial of your coming-of-age ceremony. I knew you could do it, kid."
Tom smiled and patted Fang on the shoulder.
The Emerald Peak Tribe was a small Forest Troll tribe with fewer than a thousand members in total.
