Because the grasslands lacked trees and massive stones, while the distant forests, though abundant in timber, were far too dangerous for orcs accustomed to life on the plains, there were very few buildings made of wood and stone in the Augu Tribe. Most were built from mud, thatch, and animal hides.

The hall's overall design was extremely rough-hewn. There were even quite a few gaps in the roof and walls that let the wind through. The winds on the grasslands were strong, and as the air streamed through the cracks in the walls, it let out a mournful "whooo" that sounded rather unsettling.
