As the dust settled, Hagen the "Curse Pillar" crawled out of the ruins, covered in dirt and grime.

This was the magical city of Dalaran. Every building and every wall here was reinforced by magic to varying degrees, making them far sturdier than ordinary steel-and-concrete structures.

"Check your injuries. Anyone injured, go back for treatment. The rest of you search the scene and see if you can find any useful clues. Especially where that guy got so much explosives!"
This target had merely been an ordinary Muggle spy. Hagen did not believe the other party could have secretly brought so much explosives into Dalaran without anyone noticing. A Wizard must have been helping him.
