Of those four thousand-plus people, around a hundred were either shot dead after putting up fierce resistance during their capture or died by detonating themselves in a mutual destruction attempt. More than ninety of the dead were Muggles. In contrast, the Wizards were far less resolute in their resistance, with only five killed.
Among all the captured spies, most had actually remained undercover and had never carried out any sabotage in Dalaran. Bell had no intention of making things difficult for them and simply planned to send them back.
As for the small number who had actually caused trouble, Bell had no intention of letting them off so easily. He especially intended to use some of the more vicious ones for killing the chicken to warn the monkeys.
