The golden-haired goddess was pacing irritably.
There was nothing before her, but she was clearly speaking to some being.
"What?" From the voice, it was Lilith.
"Pass a message to Godfrey for me," Marika said succinctly.
"Use your 'channel.' Don't go through any conventional routes."
"Oh? Remembered that untamable husband of yours?" Lilith's voice grew more teasing.
"What should I say?"
"Tell him: if you've lost your grace, come back at once. Do what we agreed." Marika ignored her teasing, her tone serious.
Lilith seemed to be pulling a face. "What's wrong? Not getting enough? Finally realized those glittering creations of Law can't compare to the original wild warrior's **?"
An invisible vein seemed to pop on Marika's forehead. "You 'shaman village profanity,' mind your own business!"
"Oh my, someone's getting worked up." Lilith's voice was full of delight.
"Fine, fine. I'm just too softhearted. Speaking of which, when you two do... that, remember to give me a shout. I wouldn't mind watching. Maybe I could even offer some 'artistic guidance'..."
