At the same time, at the Tohsaka residence.
Gilgamesh stood by the window, holding a wineglass.
He watched the distant battlefield, a faint, amused smile on his lips.
"They've started fighting."
Tokiomi Tohsaka stood behind him, his head respectfully bowed.
"O King, will you not go and take a look?"
"At what?"
Gilgamesh swirled his wineglass. "What's worth watching about two mongrels fighting?"
"Still, that Dead Apostle... is somewhat interesting."
Tokiomi raised his head. He seemed to have heard a particular description.

As for Sakura... she was already an enemy...
Tokiomi Tohsaka kept his head lowered and stood respectfully.
Gilgamesh glanced at him. The cracks in this man's heart were not deep enough yet. Compared with his student, Tokiomi Tohsaka simply was not "entertaining" enough.
Still, purely as a jester, he did earn a measure of the king's appreciation.
The scene returned to the battlefield.
The Grand Duke's blood-red bats blotted out the sky and moon, surging toward Gordius Wheel.
