The mighty king, Godfrey, made a stunning entrance.
His gaze first fell on Asmodeus, and he grinned, brimming with fighting spirit. "You skulking wretch, get over here and fight me!"
He suddenly leaped up, raising his battle-axe overhead, and crashed toward Asmodeus like a meteor.
With just one blow, Asmodeus's bloated body was cleaved in half. The towering Godfrey blocked the Tarnished's view, making it hard to see clearly. But the scattering shards of red crystal were ample proof of the first lord's might.
Asmodeus let out an almost despairing howl. It was an instinctive reaction, but Godfrey took it as a provocation.
And so the king grew furious! The lion answered his cry with a low roar.
His muscles tensed, his presence more savage than a bear's. The warrior king let out a deafening battle cry, almost a roar.
Then came an earth-splitting cleave, a sweep, a downward slash, a spinning strike... The axe struck like a raging storm, chopping Asmodeus's enormous body into mince bit by bit.
The screen suddenly darkened, as though it did not want the player to see this bloody scene clearly. But the sounds still conveyed the brutality of the battle: Godfrey's roars, the chops of his battle-axe, the tearing of flesh, and his hearty laughter echoed through the darkness.

Amid a series of imagination-provoking crashes, the cutscene ended.
When the screen lit up again, Godfrey had vanished. Asmodeus was nowhere to be seen either. Only a small patch of blood remained to prove that He had ever existed in this world.
In contrast, Radahn appeared there, his eyes still fixed on the direction in which Godfrey had disappeared.
Radahn: "Hahaha! King Godfrey's strength is truly astonishing! Now that's a man!"
