Shane saw no enmity between Joy Boy and Imu. He had only one goal: eliminate all opponents.
Anything that stood in the way of the future of all life was an enemy!

The white light turned into flickering golden light, and the lightning within it became entirely purple.
Shane seemed to have become a golden giant. A casual wave of his hand brought a roar of purple lightning, blasting a huge hole in the Devil Tree.
Its negative power was endless, healing it again and even making it grow a little more, leaving Imu stronger rather than weaker.
Within that same golden light, a blink of Shane's golden eyes formed a Darkness Vortex, tearing apart a corner of the Devil Tree and dragging it inside.
"If the Darkness Vortex I create is strong enough, could it cut off the source of your power as well?"
