People all over the world knew that a powerful new empire had been born in the Storm Sea between the New and Old Continents.

However, since the Wizard Council had yet to state its position, the various powers of the Old World had not publicly acknowledged the Atlantis Empire's existence.
The exception was the Rock Kingdom, where the Thirteenth Prince had successfully ascended the throne one year after the Crown Prince Contest.
He was now the king of the Rock Kingdom.
When news of the Atlantis Empire reached the Old World, the Rock Kingdom immediately declared its recognition of the Atlantis Empire's status.
It was also the only country in the Old World to acknowledge the Atlantis Empire's existence.
Although the other powers of the Old World had not openly recognized the Atlantis Empire,
many had privately sent congratulatory gifts in secret and established diplomatic relations with it.
After all, anyone with a discerning eye could see that the Atlantis Empire's rise was already unstoppable.
Until it dealt with the Lyon Empire, the Wizard Council simply could not spare the resources to deal with the Atlantis Empire.
