This year, pirates began running rampant along the Boer Sea Route.
Normally, pirates running rampant along a sea route was nothing unusual. After all, the profits a single sea route held were simply too great.
Even if all the powers joined forces, they could not completely prevent pirates from appearing.
Not to mention that some pirates did the dirty work for those very powers!
But the Boer Sea Route was different, being a newly established sea route.
The [Traveler] was still around, and ownership of the entire route lay firmly in the hands of the Atlantis Empire, a nation of pirates.
Since the route had first opened, there had essentially been no pirates.
Whenever the occasional pirate did appear, the Atlantis Empire immediately crushed them.
With the [Traveler] around, pirates had nowhere to hide along the route!
In fact, during the previous two years, a major power had sent its High-Tier Classholders to disguise themselves as pirates and raid its competitors.
That power had originally thought the Atlantis Empire would at least show some respect for the Legendary figure backing it.
Instead, not only had the Atlantis Empire slaughtered every last member of the disguised pirate crew, but Bronn had also taken Eileen and Carter with him, and the three of them had given the Legendary figure behind that power a savage beating.
Since then, there had essentially been no pirate activity along the Boer Sea Route.
