He could not help looking up and saw a giant mermaid reclining on a bed made from a pink shell.
Huge eyes, soft pink skin, a long pink tail, enormous breasts...
Though this mermaid was enormous, every part of her was perfect. Together, they were like a work of art.
"Hello, Shirahoshi. I'm Lott." Lott stood on the floor rather than bouncing on her breasts as Luffy had in the original story.
"Lord Lott, have you come to capture me? Boohoo..." Along with Shirahoshi's words came tears the size of washbasins.
Lott dodged from side to side, inwardly sighing at what a crybaby she really was, though he would not say it outright the way Luffy had in the original story.
He knew that Shirahoshi had lived alone in the Hard-Shell Tower since she was barely six. Eight years had passed since then, and her only daily companion was the shark Megalo.
Although she was exceptionally considerate, her maturity was at most that of a child of around ten, so crying when she encountered strangers was perfectly normal.
So Lott could only soothe her like a child, keeping his voice as gentle as possible. "Princess Shirahoshi, I really am here to save you. I've already killed Vander Decken. You'll never have to live in the Hard-Shell Tower again."
At that, Shirahoshi really did stop crying. "Lord Lott, is that true?"
Her huge, reddened eyes fixed on Lott, and for a moment, he actually found himself wanting to protect her for the rest of his life.
"It's true!" Lott nodded, his tone utterly certain.
"Boohoo... Lord Lott, you're such a good person!" Shirahoshi cradled Lott in her palm, sobbing her heart out.
Seeing her like this, Lott muttered inwardly, Isn't this Mermaid Princess a little too innocent?
