Everyone turned at those words and saw Katakuri staggering toward them, covered in blood.
Camel raised an eyebrow. In fact, he already had a guess.

Katakuri looked around the whole of Whole Cake Island.
Whole Cake Island had lost its former luxury and prosperity and become a field of ruins.
And all of this was inextricably linked to Lott's Crew standing before him.
Their Big Mom Pirates oppressed others, made unreasonable demands, and even treated human lives as worthless.
Most members of the Big Mom Pirates also took it for granted. Those were privileges they deserved as the strong.
And most members considered everything they had done to the Lott Pirates this time nothing more than a repetition of what they had often done before. There was nothing unreasonable about it.
They simply had not expected that, this time, they were facing not a little kitten as before, but a tiger capable of devouring them.
But Katakuri was not among those people. He was one of the few members of the Big Mom Pirates who still had a conscience.
He swayed as he tried to kneel before Lott, but his severe injuries made him fall flat on the ground.
He raised his head with difficulty. "Lott, c-can you spare my... my younger brothers and sisters? Th-they were only... following Mama's... orders."
The corner of Lott's mouth curved upward, but he said nothing. He simply watched him quietly, waiting for him to continue.
A stream of yellow sand drifted before Katakuri and took the form of Crocodile, who crouched in front of him.
"As I recall, you attacked us first, and we were only defending ourselves. Now that you've lost, what right do you have to ask us to spare you?"
