Luo and Doflamingo stood facing each other.
"Doflamingo! Today, we settle this!" Luo's voice sounded as though it came from hell, without a trace of emotion.
"Luo, I never thought you'd amount to something and actually join the Lott Pirates." Doflamingo marveled at Luo's luck.
Then his tone shifted. "Don't think I'll hold back just because you've joined the Lott Pirates!"
With that, five colored strings grew from the five fingertips of his right hand.

He lashed them fiercely at Luo.
Luo drew Kikoku and coated it in Armament Haki, instantly turning the entire blade pitch-black.

For a moment, the two were locked in a stalemate.
Doflamingo looked at Luo up close, his grin stretching almost to the back of his head.
"Not bad. Looks like you haven't neglected your training over the years."
Luo put more strength into his hand, forcing Doflamingo back three steps. "Of course not. I've trained every moment, all to avenge Mr. Corazon!"
"Fufufufu, brat! Don't think strength like yours is enough to beat me!" Doflamingo laughed loudly.

Luo gripped his sword's hilt, aiming its tip at Doflamingo's chest.

Doflamingo staggered back two steps, clenching his teeth as blood poured from the corner of his mouth.
Then he coated his right foot in Armament Haki, instantly turning his entire pointed leather shoe pitch-black.
He kicked straight at Luo's face.
Luo leaned backward and dodged the kick.
The two put some distance between them as a result.
Doflamingo knelt on one knee, clutching his chest and panting heavily. Clearly, that last blow had dealt him considerable damage.
