To give Ace a proper welcome, Fukaboshi and the others had ordered the dining hall to prepare food for him as soon as they received word of his arrival on Fish-Man Island.
So they brought Ace straight to the dining hall in Ryugu Palace.
The three of them were now sharing a meal with Ace.
"Oh, right. Have you seen this man?"
With his cheeks stuffed, Ace pulled a photograph from inside his clothes and showed it to Fukaboshi and the others.
Naturally, it was a picture of Teach.
"This is... he looks a little familiar, fa-mi-re-do~" Ryuboshi answered after examining it closely.
Ace's eyes lit up, and he fired off three questions in a row. "Oh? When? Where? Where did he go?"
Ryuboshi turned to Manboshi. "There was someone like that, wasn't there? He came to Fish-Man Island just half a month ago. Fa-mi-re-do~"
Manboshi thought for a moment. "I think there was."
Ace grabbed Manboshi's arm. "Then did he do anything here? Where did he go?"
Ryuboshi frowned, thought carefully, and answered, "He didn't stay on Fish-Man Island for long. He seemed to just be passing through, then left in a hurry.
"I don't know exactly where he went, but judging by the direction his ship was heading, it seemed to be the first half of the Grand Line."
"Huh?" Ace sat up straight at Ryuboshi's answer.
But he soon collapsed onto the dining table.
"What?!"
Seeing Ace suddenly lose consciousness and fall onto the table, Fukaboshi and the others panicked.
After all, this was the Second Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates!
If something happened to him on Fish-Man Island, they would face the wrath of Whitebeard, one of the Four Emperors.
That was not something they could bear.
