"Old man, you know me?" Luffy was a little puzzled by Jinbe's words.
"Luffy, my friend Ace often mentioned you to me," Jinbe said.
He couldn't help recalling the doting look on Ace's face whenever he mentioned Luffy.
"Huh? Did that guy Ace keep bad-mouthing me?" Luffy asked as he ran.
"Luffy, my friend Ace only ever praised you in front of me."
"Oh, really? Then are you going to save Ace too, old man?" Luffy turned to look at Jinbe, his face full of excitement.
"Yes, I am. I just want to help that man." Jinbe's voice was full of resolve.

Luffy sent a monster flying with a punch, then asked, "Who? Ace?"
Jinbe shook his head. "Not entirely. Fish-Man Island can only remain peaceful now because of Pops Whitebeard.
"Pirates heading along the Grand Line are bound to pass through Fish-Man Island.
"Not long after the Great Pirate Era began, Fish-Man Island fell into poverty.
"Countless human pirates swarmed in, along with many Marines pursuing them.
"Many fish-men and merfolk were abducted and sold.
"Just when everyone had fallen into despair...
"Whitebeard appeared.
"With those words, 'This territory is mine now,' no one dared lay a hand on Fish-Man Island again."
At this point, Jinbe couldn't help exclaiming, "What incredible power.
"I will never forget that day.
"Just like that, that man protected many islands with his name alone."
Luffy's eyes shone when he heard this. "So cool! Whitebeard really is a good guy."
Then Jinbe's tone changed. "There are many, many islands in this world that only enjoy peace because of Whitebeard's name.
"That's why Pops Whitebeard absolutely must not fall!
"If that man dies, how will the seas change?
"Everyone knows another era of great chaos will come.
"The World Government couldn't possibly have failed
