"Ace!!!"
When Luffy saw Lott and Ace appear together on the battlefield, he could not help shouting in excitement.
Ace looked up at Luffy and answered with a smile, "You brat, don't you know how dangerous it is here? What are you doing here?"
Luffy grinned. "Heehee, we're brothers, aren't we?"
A gentle smile spread across Ace's face at those words. "Don't be this foolish next time."
Luffy said, "Heehee, I won't."
Foosha Village, Dawn Island, East Blue.
Inside Makino's tavern, everyone shouted wildly when they saw Ace get free:
"Yeah!!! Let's drink to Ace's freedom!!"
"Cheers!"
Everyone raised their mugs and took great gulps.
"Let's drink to Lott!!"
"Cheers!"
The people raised their mugs again and drank heartily.
"Let's drink to Luffy!"
"Cheers!"
Just then, an elderly voice rang out. "Keep it down!"
One of the drunks said, "Come on, we're just happy Ace was rescued and want to celebrate!"
"That's right, Mayor. We watched Ace grow up. He's like our own child."
"Shut up! He's a pirate! A pirate, do you understand? One of this world's bad people!" The mayor was spraying spittle all over the table.
Makino chuckled beside him. "Mayor, I think you're happy Lott saved Ace too, aren't you?"
That remark set everyone teasing him.
"That's right, that's right. Mayor, you must have been more worried about those three than anyone."
"Mayor, stop trying to hide it."
"Look, your face is red."
"Stop pretending, Mayor!"
The mayor could no longer hold back. His wrinkled old face flushed all the way to the tips of his ears. "Shut up, you brats!"
"Cheers!!"
The mayor said, "You're too loud!"
"Hahahaha!"
Makino looked at the three young men on the battlefield: Luffy, Ace, and Sabo.
Her face was filled with a gentle smile.

"Ace...
