Ch. 161Half human, half ghost

Boer met Dragon and Kuma in the Veterans' Home tavern, where Dragon tried to atone for Garp's attack before Boer refused his offer. They discussed Robin's departure for the New World, then celebrated Kuma and Ginny's newborn daughter, Bonney.

  • Boer reflected on the kingdom's new power structure and transformed a wooden cup into a diamond with his magnetic abilities.
  • Dragon and Kuma arrived at the tavern, and Dragon stopped his wind blade against Boer's magnetic force field before revealing that Garp was his father and offering his hand as repayment.
  • Boer refused Dragon's offer and asked whether they could bring Robin to see him; Kuma and Dragon explained that Robin had trained for two years and gone alone to the New World.
  • Boer admitted that he was still adapting to his half-human, half-ghost body and worried about how Robin would react to it.
  • Kuma told Boer that he and Ginny had a daughter named Bonney, and the four men raised their drinks to celebrate her.

Ch. 162Girls

Nami and Carina were drawn into Aaron Ball’s growing influence after signing documents at a tense banquet, while Nami questioned the price of their new security and Carina fantasized about marrying him. Far from the Royal City, Ball trained his powers and set out his next goals, including hunting Enel to create a Devil Fruit Weapon.

  • Nami and Carina signed papers dividing the salt empire’s assets while Captain Snake, the finance minister, and other officials negotiated.
  • Carina obtained information about Aaron Ball from the king and declared that she intended to become his wife, prompting Nami to warn her of the danger.
  • Nami noticed Robin’s name in the papers and wondered whether her resemblance to Ball’s partner had influenced his decision to protect her.
  • Nami and Carina settled into their luxurious villa, where Nami worried that Ball’s offer of security might come at a steep price.
  • Ball drew a Sea King’s life energy into his magnetized left side and reflected on the cost of his planned revenge against the World Government.
  • Ball outlined plans to stabilize his body, fulfill his promises to the Oykot Kingdom, protect Nami and Carina, find Luffy, and hunt Enel for a Devil Fruit Weapon.

Ch. 163Mother wolf

Boer escorted Nami and Carina from the villa to the Orange Grove, demonstrating his extraordinary magnetic powers along the way. When Nami urgently tried to make Nojiko eat the Devil Fruit, Bellemere arrived and sensed Boer as an overwhelming threat to her family.

  • Boer agreed to escort Nami to Cocoyasi Village, teased her and Carina, and arranged gifts and farming supplies for their visit.
  • Boer revealed that he could cover his metallic left side with a skinlike layer, then carried the girls and their belongings in a magnetic sphere.
  • Boer used his magnetic abilities to harden Oykot Royal City's main roads and transported the group to the Orange Grove in less than three minutes.
  • Nami and Carina reunited with Nojiko, and Nami tried to force the unpeeled Devil Fruit into her sister's mouth.
  • Bellemere came into the courtyard, saw Boer, and recognized him as an extreme danger while preparing to protect her daughters.

Ch. 164Madam, You Wouldn't Want That Either

Bellemere confronted Boer after Nojiko ate a Devil Fruit, but his power and a proposed orange-soda business left her wary and unable to refuse outright. Boer departed before the girls could serve refreshments, setting off to meet Luffy.

  • Nojiko transformed her fingers and ankles into chains after eating the Chain-Chain Fruit, then learned to control the ability with Boer's guidance.
  • Bellemere attacked Boer to protect her daughters, but the blade passed through his body without harming him, and his clothes repaired themselves.
  • Nami and Carina defended Boer, and Bellemere agreed to hear him out while warning him not to hurt Nami.
  • Boer proposed funding an orange-soda plant as a gift to Nami's family, while Nami privately wrestled with her feelings and her dream of drawing a World Map.
  • Boer left after saying he would send documents and funds, then used a Log Pose to set out to meet Luffy.

Ch. 165Little Luffy

Ace and Luffy raided the Stinkard Gang’s base, where they discovered abducted women, before Boer appeared and overpowered them. Boer took the boys to Dadan’s hideout and demanded that Garp meet him alone in the Oykot Kingdom, prompting Garp to race back toward the East Blue.

  • Ace and Luffy attacked the Stinkard Gang’s base while its main force was away, and Ace helped defeat the remaining lackeys.
  • Luffy and Ace found imprisoned women, and Boer appeared, saying he had already crushed the gang members on his way there.
  • Ace used Conqueror’s Haki against Boer, but Boer overwhelmed him and knocked him and Luffy unconscious.
  • Boer carried the boys to Dadan’s hideout, ordered Dadan to tell Garp to meet him alone in the Oykot Kingdom, and vanished with Ace and Luffy.
  • Dadan called Garp to report the kidnapping, and Garp ordered Bogard to turn the warship around and sail for the Oykot Kingdom.

Ch. 166When problems arise, you have to!

Bellemere learned more about Boer’s dangerous background, then found him bringing Garp’s grandsons Luffy and Ace to Cocoyasi Village. After a feast and hearing how harshly the boys had been raised, she cautiously accepted that Boer was keeping them safe for now.

  • Bellemere worried over Nami and Carina’s account of Boer’s power, while they reminded her that he had helped them and brought supplies for the orange grove.
  • Boer arrived with Luffy and Ace, identified them as Garp’s grandsons, and watched Ace wake and defend Luffy from him.
  • Boer hosted a large barbecue in the clearing, sharing Sea King meat with Bellemere’s family and the villagers.
  • Luffy and Ace described Garp’s brutal training and their struggles to find food, prompting Bellemere to comfort Ace and condemn Garp’s treatment of them.
  • Boer admitted he had brought the boys partly to frighten Garp, and Bellemere accepted that he was not entirely bad as the children enjoyed the meal together.

Ch. 167Clashing head-on with Garp, part one

Garp rushed across the Calm Belt after confirming Boer was alive and had found his grandsons, then met Boer on an uninhabited island for a fight. Their clash escalated until Boer revealed his fully magnetized combat form and challenged Garp to continue with fists.

  • Garp ordered Bogard to take the warship across the Calm Belt toward Mary Geoise, then sensed Boer’s call and launched himself toward the island.
  • Boer detected Garp approaching and took Bellemere, Nojiko, Ace, Nami, Carina, and Luffy from the Orange Grove to watch the fight from a safe distance.
  • Garp and Boer exchanged powerful blows, with Boer using Magnetic Collapse Singularity and magnetic techniques against Garp’s Haki and close-combat skill.
  • Boer disrupted Garp’s Armament Haki for an instant and struck his face, while Garp landed a heavy punch that damaged Boer’s disguise and magnetic frame.
  • Boer unleashed a burst of electric current that briefly slowed Garp, then discarded his disguise and fully magnetized his body.

Ch. 168Clashing head-on with Garp, part two

Boer and Garp fought a devastating battle on the island, with Boer eventually knocking Garp down before Garp began to unleash his ultimate Haki. Bellemere interrupted them to call everyone back for dinner, and the battered fighters stopped before the final round as Ace resolved to become stronger.

  • Boer accelerated with magnetic force and battered Garp with a series of kicks, sending him crashing through a reef.
  • Garp recovered and sprinted across the sea to clash with Boer, but Boer used a hidden ambush and a prolonged combination to knock Garp unconscious.
  • Garp struggled to rise and began gathering a powerful Haki combat stance while Boer prepared for another round.
  • Bellemere shouted that the children were hungry and ordered Garp and Boer to stop fighting and return to the boat.
  • Garp and Boer let their auras fade, traded subdued taunts, and walked back toward the boat as Luffy cheered for food.
  • Ace watched Boer and Garp return and resolved to grow strong enough to stand on a battlefield like theirs and protect others.

Ch. 169Notify Mary Geoise

Garp returned to his warship severely injured after Boer defeated him, and ordered Bogard to warn Mary Geoise that Boer and his awakened Magnet-Magnet Fruit threatened Pangaea Castle. Garp then returned to Cocoyasi Village, where he watched Boer teach Ace Armament Haki and reconsidered his own training methods.

  • Garp appeared on the Dog-Head Warship badly wounded, and Bogard ordered the medics to treat him.
  • Garp told Bogard that Boer had returned stronger, could disrupt Armament Haki and transport people through space, and had awakened the Magnet-Magnet Fruit; he ordered a warning sent to the Five Elders about Mary Geoise and Pangaea Castle.
  • Garp asked for powerful painkillers and anesthetic so he could return to his grandsons, then teleported back to the Orange Grove at Cocoyasi Village.
  • Boer entertained Nami, Nojiko, Carina, and Luffy with his powers, then guided Ace until Ace independently produced Armament Haki on his little finger.
  • Garp watched Boer teach Ace and questioned his own harsh methods, but Boer told him that Garp had given the boys a strong foundation in body and will.
  • Garp gave Boer a bag of premium Marine tobacco, and Boer passed it to Bellemere as thanks for raising the children.

Ch. 170The second round: Utter defeat

Boer treated Garp’s injuries, and Bellemere confronted him over how he had raised Ace and Luffy. After Boer proposed that the boys stay in Cocoyasi Village, Ace rejected Garp’s plan to take him to Marine Headquarters, and Bellemere comforted him as he struggled with his identity and choices.

  • Boer used his electromagnetic abilities to ease Garp’s injuries and told him he would need a month or two to fully recover.
  • Bellemere criticized Garp for leaving Ace and Luffy to grow up without security, leaving him unable to defend his choices.
  • Boer proposed investing in an orange soda factory in Cocoyasi Village and having Ace and Luffy stay there while they grew up.
  • Garp said he had come to take Ace to Marine Headquarters and revealed that Ace’s father was the Revolutionary Army leader.
  • Ace refused to go, argued that his identity as Gol D. Roger’s son could put Garp in danger, and ran into the hills.
  • Bellemere found Ace crying and encouraged him to define himself through his own choices and learn to accept and cherish himself.

Ch. 171A tough problem

The Five Elders assessed Aaron Ball’s return and his defeat of Garp as a direct threat to Mary Geoise, debating whether he was preparing a larger attack. They ordered heightened defenses and a covert hunt for Nico Robin, hoping to use her as leverage against him.

  • Saint Warcury challenged Saint Nusjuro and Saint Saturn over their role in the failed operation against Aaron Ball in Bernia.
  • The Five Elders considered Aaron’s powers, lack of attachments, and potential threat to Mary Geoise, while Saint Saturn warned that his attack on Garp might have tested their defenses.
  • Saint Mars ordered Kong to strengthen Mary Geoise’s air defenses, Army Headquarters to raise its alert, and Cipher Pol personnel to assemble a rapid-response team.
  • Saint Mars proposed capturing Nico Robin, whom he believed Aaron might be unable to abandon, and ordered a covert search using Cipher Pol Aigis Zero and intelligence networks.
  • Saint Warcury assigned the Elders their tasks, including signing the directive against Robin and monitoring economic and political stability.

Ch. 172Betrayal

Boer attacked a Cipher Pol safe house in the Oykot Kingdom, forged its agents into weapons and monsters, and detected a powerful Devil Fruit user nearby. The Golden Lion Shiki then confronted him by dropping a huge chunk of his floating island toward the Royal City, and Boer prepared to fight.

  • Boer used intelligence from Snake and King Francisco III to map Cipher Pol’s East Blue network and chose to attack its agents.
  • Boer entered a safe house and immobilized Aisha, De Niro, Xingrui, and Fatima with magnetic restraints.
  • Boer killed De Niro and forged him and Aisha into mindless creatures, while he turned Xingrui and Fatima into weapons that retained some of their abilities.
  • Boer detected an unstable, powerful Devil Fruit presence about twenty-five kilometers southeast of the Oykot Royal City.
  • Golden Lion Shiki appeared above the city and sent a mountain-sized chunk of his floating island crashing toward it.
  • Boer recognized Shiki and gathered his magnetic power to face the attack.

Ch. 173An abrupt end

Boer battled Golden Lion Shiki in the sky above Oykot Royal City, but Shiki’s brain injury suddenly incapacitated him and sent his floating islands crashing down. Boer saved the city, removed the ship’s wheel from Shiki’s skull and revived him, then left their rematch for another day.

  • Boer compressed a falling mountain into a lightning sphere and launched a lightning dragon at Golden Lion, who countered with a storm of sword slashes that shattered it and damaged his floating islands.
  • Boer transformed into his Magnetic Skeleton form and attacked Golden Lion at close range, but Shiki’s brain injury overwhelmed him as he gathered his Conqueror’s Haki, making him lose consciousness and control of his Devil Fruit.
  • Boer used his awakened Full-Field Magnetization to stop the falling islands, combine them into a huge rock mass, and safely set them down on an uninhabited coastline.
  • Boer examined Golden Lion’s damaged brain, removed the embedded ship’s wheel and dead tissue, and restarted his brain and heart.
  • Golden Lion regained consciousness and invited Boer to join him, but Boer advised him to seek a Heal-Heal Fruit user through Donquixote Doflamingo’s network and promised to fight him again once he recovered.
  • Golden Lion departed with Indigo and his officers, promising to spare Boer’s life in their next encounter, while Boer vowed to give him a dignified final battle.

Ch. 174Efficiency above all

Boer used his electromagnetic perception to silently wipe out Cipher Pol outposts across the East Blue, prompting Loguetown’s chief, Fu Gan’er, to flee. Boer reached Loguetown and revealed himself as the White Calamity after finding its Cipher Pol center abandoned.

  • Boer located Cipher Pol outposts across the East Blue and eliminated their agents, killing tougher targets with concentrated magnetic heat.
  • Fu Gan’er watched the outpost signals vanish and feared that Aaron Ball, the White Calamity, had returned to the East Blue.
  • Fu Gan’er ordered the remaining Cipher Pol personnel to evacuate, then abandoned his post and escaped through a secret passage.
  • Boer arrived in Loguetown and found the Cipher Pol information center empty after a hasty retreat.
  • A Marine recognized Boer at the Execution Platform, and Boer calmly acknowledged him before the watching crowd.

Ch. 175Cashing in

Boer sold newly forged Pseudo-Black Blades at Ipponmatsu’s shop, then faced Smoker and Tashigi when Marines confronted him in Loguetown. After defeating Smoker and bargaining with Tashigi, he left with her for coffee, promising to keep a low profile.

  • Boer discovered he had no Beli and turned ten discarded swords into six military sabers, selling five to Ipponmatsu for five million Beli each.
  • Ipponmatsu recognized the sabers as Pseudo-Black Blades and identified Boer as the White Calamity, Aaron Ball.
  • Smoker entered the shop and accused Boer of robbing it, while Tashigi excitedly recognized him as a legendary swordsmith.
  • Smoker pulled Tashigi from the shop with his smoke powers, then attacked Boer with his Seastone Jitte after Boer asked him to look the other way.
  • Boer caught the Jitte barehanded and knocked Smoker unconscious with a precise strike, then laid him safely in the shade.
  • Boer persuaded Tashigi to have coffee with him in exchange for keeping Smoker safe and avoiding major trouble in Loguetown, and she agreed while warning she might arrest him.

Ch. 176Searching

Boer questioned Tashigi and Smoker about Marine justice, then used his magnetic-field ability to travel from Loguetown to Alabasta. After searching unsuccessfully for Nico Robin, he obtained an Eternal Pose to Jaya and departed.

  • Boer drew out Tashigi’s knowledge of Jaya and challenged her and Smoker to question the World Government’s justice and its protection of the Celestial Dragons.
  • Smoker arrived at the café and resisted Boer’s invitation to fight the World Government, while Tashigi demanded that Boer leave Loguetown.
  • Boer vanished from the café, found Loguetown’s underground black market, and bought an Eternal Pose to Alabasta.
  • Boer teleported to Alabasta in a vast aurora, exhausting himself before recovering and searching the kingdom for Nico Robin without finding her.
  • Boer bought an Eternal Pose to Jaya and teleported away from Alabasta.

Ch. 177Attack

Boer attacked Mary Geoise with a massive plasma sphere after probing the Flower Room and discovering that Imu possessed Lilith and drew power through a network connected to Sunlight Tree Eve. The explosion devastated the Red Line around the Holy Land, but Imu shielded Mary Geoise, then summoned the Elders to deal with the aftermath and report to her.

  • Saint Saturn learned that Aaron Ball had destroyed dozens of Cipher Pol sites in East Blue and feared the organization would collapse or turn against the World Government.
  • Boer scanned Mary Geoise, provoked Imu by probing the Flower Room, and discovered that Imu occupied Lilith's body and drew energy through a network connected to Sunlight Tree Eve.
  • Boer created and hurled a thousand-meter plasma sphere at Mary Geoise, then escaped to an underwater capsule near Jaya as Saint Maz charged to intercept the attack.
  • Saint Maz struck the sphere and was consumed by its explosion, while the blast shattered Mary Geoise's barrier and carved two vast abysses into the Red Line.
  • Imu enveloped Mary Geoise in darkness and erased the remaining blast, after which the Elders and others bowed toward the Flower Room.
  • Borsalino arrived to survey the destruction, and Imu ordered the four Elders to handle the aftermath and come to her.

Ch. 178Evil Flower

In the Flower Room, Imu ordered the World Government to stop provoking Aaron Ball and decided to seek his allegiance as a divine agent called Calamity. Elsewhere, Enel woke from a dream of his childhood abuse and reaffirmed his rule over Sky Island.

  • Imu questioned Saint Saturn about Aaron Ball, then searched Saturn’s memories and learned how the World Government had helped turn him into an enemy.
  • Imu ordered the World Government to suspend actions that might provoke Aaron, observe him at the highest level, find him, and offer him authority as a Calamity.
  • Imu told the Five Elders to repair the Red Line’s scars and have Mars return, and the Elders withdrew from the Flower Room.
  • Enel dreamed of being bullied in Birka for lacking wings, then awoke aboard the Ark Maxim and dismissed his childhood self and homeland.
  • Enel sensed prayers and doubts across Sky Island, planned to punish insufficiently devout tribes, and went to eat his divine feast.

Ch. 179God?

Boer defeated Enel on Sky Island, seized the Rumble-Rumble Fruit’s power, and fused it into his Magnetic Skeleton. The discovery that his perception had reached an absolute limit left him confronting the gap between his mortal soul and godhood.

  • Enel detected a blind spot in his Mantra, brought the Ark Maxim to Sky Island’s forest, and ordered his four priests to kill Boer.
  • Boer knocked out Ohm, Shura, Gedatsu, and Satori with Conqueror’s Haki, then deflected Enel’s lightning and absorbed his lightning dragon.
  • Enel transformed into a thunder god and unleashed a lightning barrage, but Boer stopped it, redirected the charges, and trapped him in a lightning cage.
  • Boer examined Enel’s Rumble-Rumble Fruit phantom, discovered that his own Life Magnetic Field contained no Devil Fruit phantom, and speculated that his transmigrator soul had altered the fruit’s rules.
  • Boer extracted Enel’s Rumble-Rumble Fruit phantom, destroyed Enel, and forged the fruit’s power into a Superconducting Ring that fused with his Magnetic Skeleton.
  • Boer’s electromagnetic perception expanded to a radius of one hundred kilometers before reaching a limit imposed by his soul, leaving him in tears as he recognized the boundary of his mortal existence.

Ch. 180Silence

Boer deployed an Electromagnetic Silence Field over Mary Geoise, disabling communications and isolating the Holy Land while blocking attempts to escape. As the Five Elders learned that Aaron Ball was responsible, Imu considered whether the powerful and precise attacker could be brought under control.

  • Boer used the Superconducting Ring to spread an Electromagnetic Silence Field across Mary Geoise, shutting down electrical devices and communications.
  • Celestial Dragons and officials panicked as their devices failed, while the Five Elders ordered messengers and forces to restore contact and suppress unrest.
  • Imu told the Five Elders that Aaron Ball had appeared and was watching, then considered recruiting him as a weapon capable of changing the balance of power.
  • Boer disrupted carrier birds, falcons, and dolphins attempting to cross the field, killed Cipher Pol personnel trying to escape by speedboat, and dragged most airborne escapees into the sea.
  • A woman riding a giant black bird escaped through an apparent spatial jump, prompting Boer to strengthen the field to interfere with spatial movement.
