Ch. 81Nezuko turned back

Zongyan brought an antidote to the Demon Slayer World and used it to turn Nezuko back into a human. After Tanjiro tearfully thanked him, a Demon Slayer Corps member summoned Zongyan to meet the Master.

  • Zongyan ordered Toru to bring him twenty doses of Tamayo's medicine and assemble twenty Uchiha clansmen.
  • Zongyan led the Uchiha squad and Tsunade through the portal, then sent the clansmen to gather technology and scholars from across the world.
  • Zongyan, Toru, and Tsunade reached the Demon Slayer outpost, where Tanjiro recognized Zongyan and brought him to Nezuko.
  • Zongyan gave Tanjiro the antidote, and Nezuko drank it as Tanjiro watched anxiously.
  • Nezuko's demon traits faded, and she regained her human form and called Tanjiro 'Brother.'
  • A Corps member told Zongyan that the Master wanted to speak with him.

Ch. 82Blue Spider Lily

Zongyan spoke with Kagaya Ubuyashiki about the Shinobi World, gave him the remaining antidote, and then asked Tanjiro to take him to his family home. There, Tanjiro led Zongyan to a mountain clearing where they found the Blue Spider Lilies he had been seeking.

  • Kagaya Ubuyashiki questioned Zongyan about his family's power and learned that he came from the Shinobi World, which sought this world's richer resources.
  • Zongyan gave Kagaya Ubuyashiki the remaining antidote for those still affected by demons and offered the Uchiha clan's help.
  • Zongyan asked Tanjiro to guide him to his home, and Tanjiro agreed to bring Nezuko along so she could see the sunlight.
  • At Tanjiro's home on Mount Kumotori, Zongyan asked about a lone grave and learned that rare blue flowers grew nearby.
  • Tanjiro led Zongyan, Nezuko, and Tsunade up the mountain, where they found Blue Spider Lilies growing around a weathered stone tablet.

Ch. 83Bringing Tanjiro to the Shinobi World

  • Uchiha Zongyan gave Muzan the Blue Spider Lily as a reward for serving the Uchiha.
  • Muzan repeatedly experimented with the flowers until he created and drank a medicine that made him immune to sunlight.
  • Muzan stepped into the noon sunlight and confirmed that it no longer harmed him.
  • Muzan called the Twelve Kizuki outside and transferred his blood to them, allowing them to withstand sunlight too.
  • Tanjiro arrived with Nezuko, saw Muzan and the Twelve Kizuki unharmed in the sun, and confronted Muzan.

Ch. 85J.A.R.V.I.S. reporting for duty

Uchiha Zongyan stopped Tanjiro from attacking Muzan, explaining that Muzan was dead in Tanjiro’s world but now served the Uchiha Clan in the Shinobi World. After Muzan agreed to recruit people with unusual abilities and Clan Elder Yashiro reported progress on studying foreign technologies, Zongyan prepared to materialize J.A.R.V.I.S.

  • Zongyan stopped Tanjiro from striking Muzan and explained that Muzan had been taken from Tanjiro’s world, where he was still considered dead.
  • Zongyan promised to resurrect Tanjiro’s parents and said Muzan and the demons would only be allowed to prey on society’s scum; Tanjiro left with Nezuko, insisting he would watch over them.
  • Zongyan gave Muzan a list of people with special abilities and ordered him to recruit them, and Muzan agreed to send demons to contact them.
  • Clan Elder Yashiro told Zongyan that scholars were studying the recovered materials and that he had begun recruiting people to reproduce their technologies.
  • Zongyan returned home, checked his system panel, and ordered the system to materialize J.A.R.V.I.S.

Ch. 86Uchiha Industries

Zongyan brought J.A.R.V.I.S. to Uchiha Fugaku and proposed using its industrial knowledge to build a company that would bind the ninja clans through shared interests. After Uchiha Industries opened and recruited hundreds of workers, J.A.R.V.I.S. predicted that ninja strength would greatly shorten the time needed to establish industry.

  • Zongyan asked J.A.R.V.I.S. how long it would take to build an industrial system from scratch, and it estimated five years with enough resources and manpower.
  • Zongyan presented J.A.R.V.I.S. and its industrial knowledge to Uchiha Fugaku, then proposed founding a company under the Uchiha name and recruiting other ninja clans.
  • Fugaku approved the plan and told Zongyan to request clan manpower from Clan Elder Yashiro.
  • Uchiha Industries opened on Konoha's Commercial Street and posted job listings in the mission hall, attracting a long line of applicants from several clans.

Ch. 87The Uchiha recruit workers

Three months after the Uchiha built the Shinobi World's first train, Zongyan welcomed the first group of recruited craftsmen, apprentices, and children with shinobi potential to Konoha. He recognized a suspicious man among them, and after the stranger dodged three attacks, he revealed that he knew Zongyan's identity.

  • Zongyan recalled ordering Muzan to abduct the Fire Daimyo, nobles, and their envoys, then establish a new system of government and recruit talented people for Konoha.

Ch. 88Orochimaru Joins

Zongyan discovered that Orochimaru had obtained the missing demon and recruited him to serve the Uchiha in exchange for access to what he sought. After placing a cursed seal on Orochimaru to control him, Zongyan brought him to the Uchiha research institute, where Orochimaru became fascinated by its technology.

  • Orochimaru revealed himself to Zongyan and admitted that he had come seeking immortality and indestructibility.
  • Zongyan realized Orochimaru had acquired the demon that the Uchiha had lost in the Land of Rice Fields, then offered to provide what Orochimaru wanted in exchange for his service.
  • Zongyan took Orochimaru into the Infinity Castle, where Orochimaru saw demons chasing humans and reflected that he might not have left Konoha if the Uchiha had ruled.
  • Zongyan demanded to place a cursed seal on Orochimaru as a condition of trusting him, and Orochimaru accepted.
  • Zongyan brought Orochimaru to the Uchiha Experimental Research Institute and asked J.A.R.V.I.S. about the radio receiver prototype.
  • Orochimaru examined the institute's screens and equipment and told Zongyan he was very interested.

  • Uchiha Tsuchikata led more than thirty ninja in shifts as construction began, drawing attention from other Konoha clans.
  • Uchiha Kaede told clanspeople that the new grounds would provide each household with a courtyard, running water, electricity, sewage treatment, and electrical appliances.

Ch. 90Relocating the clan and pressing for marriage

As the Uchiha relocated to their new Clan Grounds, Zongyan began his plan to increase the clan’s population by encouraging childbirth and early marriage. He persuaded Uchiha Itachi to pursue Uchiha Izumi, then headed to the main hall to begin putting the plan in writing.

  • Uchiha Yui and her family joined the Uchiha relocation to the new Clan Grounds while Zongyan watched the procession.
  • Zongyan asked Itachi for help with clan development and proposed rewarding larger families and encouraging marriage among eligible clansmen.
  • Zongyan urged Itachi to set an example by marrying Izumi, and Itachi left, saying he would think about it.
  • Itachi returned and agreed to Zongyan’s suggestion, then hurried away; Mikoto guessed that Izumi had accepted his proposal.
  • Mikoto said she would visit Izumi’s family, while Zongyan went to the main hall and began drafting his plan.
