"M-monster!"
Seeing Orochimaru crawl out of the snake's mouth, Hai Xing and the crew were nearly scared senseless.
Orochimaru leaped onto the deck in a splash of water and asked darkly, "Xia Yu, why aren't you in Konoha keeping those women company? What are you doing here?"
Xia Yu spread his hands and answered softly, "I happened to be passing through. Just earning a little extra money by settling some trouble for someone..."
Orochimaru glanced around, then chuckled at the group of bald men sprawled on the deck:
"They all look half-dead. Your handiwork, I take it? Are you that short of money? Working as a bodyguard doesn't seem like your style..."
Xia Yu said, "It's a long story... Good thing I took the job, though. Otherwise, how would we have met here? It's all fate..."
"Y-young Xia Yu, you... you know her?" Watching their suggestive back-and-forth, Hai Xing timidly poked his head out from behind Xia Yu and ventured a question.
Xia Yu made no attempt to hide it and admitted openly, "Yes, she's my wife."
"Huh?" Hai Xing was so shocked that even his whiskers stood on end.
Orochimaru's face darkened as he haughtily denied it. "Shut up. I'm not your wife..."
Xia Yu said, "Yes, you are."
Orochimaru said, "No, I'm not."
Xia Yu pointed at Orochimaru's slightly swollen belly. "Don't deny it. Mr. Hai Xing, see her belly? I did that..."
Hai Xing said, "Uh... You certainly have a strong constitution, young hero."
"Shut up!" Orochimaru growled urgently:
"Is getting me pregnant really something to brag about everywhere? You tell everyone! Xia Yu, this is why I don't want to see you. Nothing good ever happens when we meet!"
Orochimaru was suffering inside.
He remembered getting pregnant by accident after his first meeting with Xia Yu.
