It was not because he was worried about how to respond, but because he could not think of any rhyming lyrics to say.

He ran his mouth even more than Hidan.
It left Kakuzu deeply agitated, killing intent pouring from his eyes.
Had he not retained his reason, Kakuzu would truly have wanted to kill his opponent outright.

Mocking him as he went, Hidan leaped up and swung the Triple-Bladed Scythe at Killer B with both hands.
