The appearance of the wind dragon Dvalin undoubtedly gave Mondstadt City a much-needed boost. Not only did he greatly ease the pressure on the Knights of Favonius, but more importantly, he lifted their morale. His arrival also confirmed one thing: Barbatos, Mondstadt's protector, had never truly left. He really had been watching over Mondstadt all along.
Ursa the Dread Dragon, whom Dvalin had slapped into Cider Lake, let out a furious roar at Dvalin in the sky, loud enough to pierce the clouds. The two dragons' auras clashed in midair, whipping up fierce winds across Mondstadt City.
Ursa could not understand. They both belonged to the noble dragon race, so why would Dvalin, a fellow dragon, fight him over a few insects? Did he have a bad habit of guarding his food?
But he had attacked Mondstadt City so many times before, and this fellow had never interfered. Why had he come to stop him this time?
Still, pride and aggression were etched into the blood of dragons. Since Dvalin had attacked him, he was not about to take the loss lying down. For that slap, he had to tear a chunk of flesh off Dvalin.
He beat his wings again, his enormous draconic body hurtling toward Dvalin like a ship-launched missile. In an instant, he was locked in combat with Dvalin.
Both were elemental dragons of Teyvat. Ursa the Dread Dragon clearly surpassed Dvalin the wind dragon in strength, but fell short of him in agility.
Moreover, there was a fundamental difference between the two dragons: Dvalin was now a familiar of the Anemo Archon. Fighting within the Anemo Archon's territory, he could receive the blessing of the Anemo Archon Barbatos.
Ursa's current master, meanwhile, was The Doctor, far away in Sumeru. The greatest favor The Doctor had bestowed
