The Vision at Yoimiya's waist blazed with light as she chose to strike first. Flourishing the Ryuukin Saxifrage she had developed herself, she fired five flaming Blazing Arrows in succession straight at the activated Maguu Kenki.
But with a wave of the Maguu Kenki's hand, the mask instantly returned to his front, easily blocking all five arrows.
The sight made Yoimiya click her tongue. A swordsman with a shield was such a nuisance. More importantly, that mask shield was clearly no ordinary piece of equipment. She had no idea whether her arrows could shatter it.
Little Klee refused to be outdone. She took out her [Dodoco Tales], and the Vision on her backpack lit up as well. As Klee chanted, freshly made boom-boom bombs appeared in her little hands, and she hurled them at that big meanie.
The Maguu Kenki tried to repeat his trick and block them with his mask, but the instant the boom-boom bombs touched it, violent explosions swept over his body with terrifying heat and powerful shock waves. Even with the mask shielding him from some of their force, the blasts still drove him back repeatedly.
Realizing he could not withstand them head-on, the Maguu Kenki began to glow cyan. Anemo Elemental Energy instantly surged throughout his body, making his movements as elusive as a phantom as he easily dodged Klee's bombs.
Yoimiya was startled by the sight. Could this strange puppet warrior actually wield both Cryo and Anemo Elemental Energy at once?
Not only that, but the long blade glowing cyan in his hand made Yoimiya realize that this puppet warrior was unquestionably a master swordsman. She was an archer, and little Klee was a demolition prodigy. Both specialized in ranged attacks, leaving them at a clear disadvantage against an opponent like this.
