The petite young girl drew a vermilion spear taller than herself from behind her-the [Staff of Homa].
Then she leaped down like a shooting star, landing safely beside the injured Yoimiya.
Looking at the girl before her, who seemed even younger than herself, Yoimiya could not help asking, "Thank you for coming to my rescue, friend. I'm Yoimiya."
Hu Tao lowered her head to glance at Yoimiya on the ground. That glance revealed a vast expanse of pale skin peeking out from inside Yoimiya's loose top. Hu Tao instinctively looked at her own flat chest. The sight dealt her a crushing blow, wiping out her good mood completely.
Hu Tao said irritably, "If you want to thank someone, thank the one watching from up there. Yoimiya, was it? What a shame. I thought you could become my customer. Oh well. Can you still stand? If you can, take that little girl over there somewhere safe. Leave this to me."
Yoimiya instinctively started to nod, but then was utterly shocked. What was this little girl saying? Was she going to take on both Maguu Kenki alone? Still, looking at how relaxed she was, could she really have the skills?
Yoimiya knew her own condition. Staying here would not help the girl; she would only become a burden instead. So, after thanking her, Yoimiya struggled to her feet and moved toward Klee.
On the way, Yoimiya could not resist turning back to warn Hu Tao, "Friend, these two puppet warriors are incredibly powerful. You must be careful!"
Hu Tao merely waved listlessly in response and said, "Got it!"
Hu Tao slowly walked toward the two Maguu Kenki before her, twirling her spear as she went. The heavy Staff of Homa moved in her hands as naturally as an extension of her arm.
